The Avatiu Eels will make their Cook Islands Women’s Premiership debut this Saturday when the side hosts the Tupapa Panthers in the opening round of the 2022 season.
The Eels are the latest club to enter a team in the Women’s competition, joining the Panthers, Arorangi Bears and Titikaveka Bulldogs.
Meanwhile in the Men’s competition, the Titikaveka Bulldogs mark their return to the Premier League against the Ngatangiia Matavera Sea Eagles on Friday night.
In the only other Men’s match scheduled for the opening round, defending Premiers, the Tupapa Panthers, will face the Avatiu Eels.
