Fiji Bati receive half a million boost heading into World Cup

The Fiji National Sports Commission this week handed over 0.5M in government grant to the Fiji National Rugby League (FNRL) for the Vodafone Fiji Bati’s preparation to the Rugby League World Cup.

Commission Executive Chairman said that the commission is proud to be able to support the Vodafone Fiji Bati to the World Cup. The sports commission has also been funding the National Head Coach salary for the Fiji Bati since 2019.

“The sports commission is very pleased today to announce the funding that its giving to the preparation and the participation of the Vodafone Fiji Bati in the Rugby League World Cup this year.” Peter said.

FNRL Chairman Mr. Viliame Naupoto, thanked the Commission for its support towards the Rugby League World Cup and other football & development programs of the FNRL.
